WFMW – Good Bread
Oct 21st, 2008 by Shalee
One of the things that I really want to get into my kids are grains, all sorts of whole grains like whole wheat, flax seeds, oats, fiber. Not only do I want them to eat them, I want them to like them. Not always an easy combo in my experience.
But wait! I found a way to do both. Arnold Breads Grains & More line has several selections that are delicious, 100% whole wheat and soft enough for kids to enjoy. We tried the Double Fiber 100% Whole Wheat Bread and the Double Protein Hearty Multi-Grain Bread. Both of them were really enjoyable!
While having a soft texture and a tasty flavor, the extra wide loaves were healthy doses of high fiber and whole grains. Because they were so packed with good stuff, they were filling for the kids and us adults. Our hunger was satisfied and satiated for a substantial amount of time. The double protein helped to contribute to maintaining our body tissue and gave us extra energy for tasks like painting the kitchen and passing school tests. The multi-grain loaf really helped our digestive systems and, as associated with high-fiber, it can help to lower Mr. Right’s high cholesterol or risk of heart disease.
I’m all for anything that will keep Mr. Right here longer.
So if you’re looking for a yummy way to get healthier food into your family, I recommend that you try Arnold Breads line of whole grains. You might just trick your family into good health.
For some other great tips, head on over to Shannon’s place. There’s lots of good things listed over there!

I’m also loving that Arnold Breads have no high fructose corn syrup. I’ve been looking for healthy whole grain breads, but most of them have HFC, but not Arnold’s.
I have not heard of this yet. I would love to try it because I know my kids aren’t getting enough nutrition!
I pulled up the site and it said “Sorry, not available in your area” so I will just have to come visit you and get some while I am there. Meanwhile here in Lincoln, NE I can get some really fine 100% whole grain breads at “The Grain Bin” at 48th & Old Chaney. One of my favorites for breakfast is a toasted slice spread with just a spoonful of sorgum molasses (great source of iron) with a cup of hot tea.
