Since I’m Being Judged Anyway…

Mar 27th, 2009 by Shalee

I figured that as I’m already in the hot seat, I might as well post this quote now.  If I’m going to have readers think less of me, I might as well go the full gamut.  :o)

I’ve been holding onto it for a week now, trying to figure out how to clean it up a bit, but I keep thinking it would lose the essence of the saying.

Oh, and I can’t tell you how many times it has made me laugh out loud when I’ve thought about it…

Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater.

If you give her sperm, she’ll give you a baby.

If you give her a house, she’ll give you a home.

If you give her groceries, she’ll give you a meal.

If you give her a smile, she’ll give you her heart.

She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.

So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of sh*t.

I think I’ll cross-stitch that on a pillow.

Whoever came up with that one deserves a good cup of coffee and homemade pie.  (That’s the equivalent of an Oscar around here.)

Hope your weekend is wonderfully relaxing and joyful.  We plan on having another girl over for a sleepover,  a birthday dinner with a good friend, dancing, moving some friends in the middle of a snow storm (ugh to the snow!), getting our taxes done and doing dinner and a movie with some friends from church.  Oh, and I’ve got to bake some cookies, bake a pie and make 24 deviled eggs in there too, not to mention catching up on Bloglines and finishing Robinson Crusoe.  In other words, we’ll be doing the usual around here this weekend.

What about you?

Ha ha ha! That’s hilarious – I love it! Cross stitched on a pillow is totally the thing to do with that – awesome. My big exciting weekend plans include….working and homework. And laundry. I know, I know — I should really try to keep the excitement to a minimum around here.

And also, what is up with all the snow that we are supposed to get?!

    Shalee:

It sounds like you are going to be a busy girl. And deviled eggs, did you have to type deviled eggs as now I want some.

Loved the poem….yes I loved it. And the last I heard this was a judgment free zone…smiles!!

Wish I could come over and help with your baking projects – sounds like fun. I’m making a chocolate stout cake tonight and the husband is thrilled (since I wasn’t home for St. Pat’s this year….).

    How’re you enjoying Robinson Crusoe?

    LOVE the quote!
