I love doing things like that. We were crammed 5 into a small 2 bedroom apartment for 5 days too when we visited my daughter. Her roommate had her bedroom, I took my girl's bedroom, 'cause I'm old and need a bed, and my three got relegated to the living room couch and floor. But it was great fun and they stayed up way past my bedtime watching movies and playing the Wii so it was all good. The hike looks wonderful. I love doing things like that.

We were crammed 5 into a small 2 bedroom apartment for 5 days too when we visited my daughter. Love your pictures, as always. To answer your question: Most rides at the State Fair require 3-4 tickets. It's not cheap entertainment. But buying tickets ahead of time helps. (Side note, but if your kiddos like thrill rides, I recommend checking out Valley Fair before the season ends. We took our kids for the first time last week -- or I should say, my in-laws took us to celebrate Natalie's 9th birthday. And oh my word, we had a ball.)
